6th Annual Super Heroes for Super Kids
Online ticket sales have ended, but a limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $25.
Super Heroes for Super Kids is a fun and family-friendly event (children under the age of 13 can attend for free) with activities for everyone, including a:
• children's costume contest
• cape-making station for children and youth
• silent auction
• Wine Wall
• tasty treats
• and local super heroes like you!
The 6th Annual Super Heroes for Super Kids' featured speaker is Leslie Lagerstrom. Leslie is a proud mom of two children, who after a recent retirement from a 21-year corporate marketing career, is focusing her passion on being a writer and advocate for transgender and gender non-conforming children and their families.
Event MC will be Belinda Carroll, a fan-favorite Portland-based comedian. The Portland Superheroes Coalition will also be on hand to help raise support for TransActive's amazing children and families.
All children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.
Proceeds from the event will support TransActive's work for a world where every child, regardless of their gender identity or gender expression, enjoys the opportunity to live life to its fullest, free from discrimination.
