Our new live storytelling format will feature behind-the-scenes stories spliced with film/TV clips from the storytellers’ own work — including outtakes and never-before-seen footage.

Our first show features Writer/Director storytellers*: JON RAYMOND (PDX), BRIAN LINDSTROM (PDX), ARTHUR BRADFORD (PDX), DREW CHRISTIE (SEA) and JOHN KENT HARRISON (PDX).

MORE ABOUT THE STORYTELLERS:

ARTHUR BRADFORD (PDX) is the Emmy-nominated Director of Six Days to Air: The Making of South Park, and he is the triple threat Writer/Director/Producer of MTV’s How’s Your News?.

DREW CHRISTIE (SEA) was born and raised on the craggy peaks of the Cascades, Christie is an award winning animator and filmmaker who has screened work at festivals across the world including the Sundance Film Festival and the Ann Arbor Film Festival. He regularly contributes to the The New York Times as well as Vanity Fair online and was nominated for a Stranger Genius Award in Film. He lives on Whidbey Island.

JOHN KENT HARRISON (PDX) Born in London, Ontario, Canada. Canoe fanatic. Made short films with National Film Board of Canada. Served time in LA – 25 years. Now lives in PDX. Has written and/or directed 27 feature length movies and mini-series for ‘high end’ television. Some examples: “John Paul 2” with Jon Voight, “Lois Wilson Story” with Winona Ryder, “You Know My Name” with Sam Elliott, “What The Deaf Man Heard” with James Earl Jones and Matthew Modine and “The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler” with Anna Paquin, for which he was nominated by the DGA as best television director, 2010.

BRIAN LINDSTROM (PDX) is the director of the documentary Alien Boy: The Life and Death of James Chasse, and his film Finding Normal was awarded Best Local Production at Willamette Week’s Longbaugh Film Festival.

JON RAYMOND (PDX) was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for his teleplay writing on the HBO mini series, Mildred Pierce (he co-wrote the series with someone named Todd Haynes). Raymond also wrote Wendy & Lucy, Meek’s Cutoff, and Old Joy.
