Portland Beer Week and Threshold Brewing present this year’s Brewers Burger Brawl! Five local breweries have accepted the challenge to serve you the BEST burger and beer pairing. Expect creative and drool-worthy slider-sized burgers with a team of guest judges selecting the ultimate Brewers Burger. No prepurchase necessary, but advanced tickets are available for those who would like to try all 5 pairings.
The 2023 Brewers Burger Brawl features last year’s Judge’s Winner Threshold Brewing paired up against some stiff competition from Grand Fir Brewing, StormBreaker Brewing, Vice Beer, and Great Notion Brewing!
Individual burgers and 5oz beer pairings are encouraged at $8 each pairing, burger only purchase is $6 each, advanced general admission ticket is $35 for all 5 burgers and 5oz beers from each brewery.
STORMBREAKER BREWING
Burger: No Po Mojo Jo-Jo
Description: 60/40 ground top sirloin patty, pimento cheese, mojo sauce, romaine lettuce and tomato on a buttered brioche bun

VICE BEER
Burger: SmashaQuesaBirria
Description: A smash patty with cheddar topped with El Viejon's signature slow-cooked birria, melty mozzarella, picked red onions, fresh cilantro and mixed greens.
Beer Pairing: Cut My Lime (into pieces) Mexican-style Lager w/ lime
GREAT NOTION BREWING
Burger: Slide-R-Die
Description: Sweet and spicy tomato jam stacked with a house blend chorizo patty, pickled red onion, crispy grilled cotija cheese, avocado crema and crunchy jicama cilantro slaw
Beer Pairing: Birra Sporgenza Italian-style Pilsner

Description: St. Helens Ranch Beef Slider, Smoked Brisket Texas Red, Guacamole, White American Cheese, Pickled Jalapeños on a Dos Hermanos Milk Bun Slider
Beer Pairing: Compañeros Mexican-style Lager collaboration with Grasslands Barbecue
THRESHOLD BREWING & BLENDING
Burger: Sucker Punch
Description: Juicy grilled all-beef patty on a bed of arugula, lemon garlic aioli, deep-fried lemon slice and raspberry drizzle, delivered in a sugar-dusted Polish Pączki donut bun.
Beer Pairing: Piwo Pilsner
