“Chad Damiani Live Directs” is an unforgiving trial by fire. A group of Portland's best clowns submit to a devising intensive with legendary clown master Chad Damiani. They will spend hours under his ruthless direction — creating clown work that aspires to be abstract, beautiful and profound. Will they rise to the challenge and create an unforgettable clown spectacle? Or crumble under the weight of their own ambition? The audience will ultimately decide. 

Chad Performs Silent Improv: No fourth wall. No clever dialogue. And a different partner every set — from both the world of clown and improv. Clown master Chad Damiani takes improvisation to the next level — creating a fully immersive experience that bends the rules of space and time. Don't come just to watch. Come be part of a one-of-a-kind clown spectacle that is too beautiful for words. Anne Zander is an actor, clown, solo-character creator and physical comedy teacher. Her “painfully funny” debut solo show — JUICEBOX — took Portland by storm in 2019 and was Official Selection 2020 at Chicago Sketchfest, Dallas Comedy Festival and HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival (Boston). Kristen Schier is an actor, improviser, teacher, and clown. She has toured all over the country teaching and performing at various festivals such as the Seattle Festival of Improvised Theater, Chicago Improv Festival, Vancouver International Improv Festival, Boom Chicago Comedy Festival in Amsterdam, and more.
