Fuji to Hood: Japan/Oregon Beer, Cider & Culture Fest

Fuji to Hood is a craft beer, cider, food and Japan/Oregon culture festival that rotates between the two countries year-to-year, with the 2024 event returning to Portland on Saturday, July 20th.

Fuji to Hood and the counterpart Hood to Fuji fest festival are Inspired by Oregon's Mt. Hood and Japan's Mt. Fuji, as well as Oregon's sister city relationship with Sapporo, Japan that has existed since 1859. Through mutual collaboration and celebration of cultures, 50 Oregon and Japan breweries and cideries are coming together to create 22 collaboration beers and 3 collaboration ciders. Each craft collaboration brewed or fermented will utilize an ingredient directly from Japan, yielding unique and creative drinks unlike anything else. Brewers and makers from all 25 Japanese counterparts will be in attendance to share their culture at the festival.

The Fuji to Hood beer festival takes place at The Redd on Salmon events building and community kitchen with indoor and outdoor spaces. All-ages are invited to participate, while beer and cider take center stage you can expect arts, music, dancing, food, and more to sample, watch, and partake in.

General Admission tickets will include a one-of-a-kind collectible and branded Fuji to Hood glass and 10 drink tickets, each ticket good for 4oz samples of beers and cider with additional drink tickets available for $2.50 each. A special early entry VIP session is limited entry ahead of the regular crowds and includes 2 extra drink tickets.
