Audience faves JASON ROUSE Actor, Teacher, Writer and all around sweet person will tell a duo story with COURTENAY HAMEISTER Former host of Live Wire! author of ‘Okay, Fine, Whatever and this beautiful and moving Modern Love piece. Check out this interview on the podcast We Can’t Print This (with BACKFENCE storytellers Eden Dawn & Fiona McCann as hosts!) that features both Courtenay and Jason shariing some BTS about the Modern Love piece. A web developer who’s spent some past hours working as a TJ Maxx associate, outdoor school instructor, organic farmer, electrician, high school English teacher, and teddy bear salesman.

BRIANNA WHEELER is an arts & culture writer in Portland, an avid roadtripper, semi-confident roller skater, novice seamstress, and mother. Her first book, a memoir about identity inheritance & the raid that started the Civil War, Altogether Different’ was published by Korza Books in 2023
