Portland Sketch Comedy Festival presents Pure & Weary (LAX), Maple Daddies (SEA)

PURE & WEARY
Katherine Biskupic and Leah Frires make up the LA based comedy duo, Pure & Weary. Pure & Weary have headlined and performed at comedy festivals all over the country, from New York to Seattle and all the places with lower gas prices in between. They've been named Top 10 Finalists for Final Draft’s Big Break Competition, semifinalists for the Second City Original Sitcom Contest and "Best Sketch Group" at the Joshua Tree International Comedy Festival. Their comedy videos have been featured on Vulture, Funny or Die, UPROXX, USA Today, WhoHaHa and the iO Comedy Network. Their first names mean Pure & Weary. MAPLE DADDIES
The Maple Daddies have been a staple of the Seattle sketch scene since forming  in 2017. Clad in Hawaiian shirts, the Maple Daddies bring with them a taste of the Seattle scene, seeking to delight the audience with a wholesome, yet bizarre comedic style, frosted by a mix of lovable weirdos mixed with ultra specific details, and topped off with a sprinkling of playful exuberance to create their “vaudeville summer camp” vibe. For an added bit of fun, try to guess which one of them spent an extremely stressful four years attending a Portland area private school!
