Join Portland Fruit Tree Project and Bauman's Cider to watch cider pressing in person at their Portland Cidery, located at 930 SE Oak Street. BYO container to take 1 gallon of apple juice home, or purchase a kit to carry away that comes with a 1 gallon glass jug for the juice, fermenting packet and tools and instructions for aging hard cider.
*Apple juice for fermentation only, not pastuerized
Attendees can take tours of the facility and learn about Urban grown fruits, how to age cider, and chat with Bauman's founders and staff in an open house format event.
Free pastries freshly baked onsite with local fruits harvested by PFTP and cider donuts from the Bauman's farm are included in your ticket price, and cider will be available for purchase at the bar.
Please Note: We will not be providing any additional menu items as our kitchen will not be open.
Ticket proceeds go to benefit the work of Portland Fruit Tree Project for this watch and learn / FUNdraising event.
