The show we've all been waiting for...are you prepared for THE BIG ONE?!
The Big One is a fully improvised show featuring a special guest monologist telling true stories from their own lives, and the performers use them as inspiration to make up scenes on the spot.
Every month features a special guest storyteller who is shaking things up in Portland alongside our rotating cast of Portland's top improvisers, The Kickstand CVLT!
This month we're excited to welcome guest monologist Brooke Totman!
Brooke is an actor, writer, director, acting coach and founder of Spotlight Studio, where she teaches adult acting classes for all levels. Brooke holds a degree in Theatre from the University of Oregon and trained for 4 years at The Groundlings in Los Angeles, where she was a member of their Sunday company. She has been performing sketch company (Night Bus, Bath Night, Totman/Ferraro, Cat Patrol) in Portland for over a decade, and uses improv with all of her students to support and enhance their work as actors. You can see Brooke starring in the series The Benefits of Gusbandry, and featured in shows like Documentary Now!, Portlandia, and Mad TV.
Your cast this month! Adam Trabka, Carmen Pfeil, Cat Hayes, John Taylor, Kristen Schier, Michael Zimmer, Naomi Dixon, and Roland Mechanik.
