Talk of the Town invites special guests to tell us all about the amazing things they are up to in the City of Roses. These special guests are Portlanders who’re making art, making food, or making a difference! Their stories and lives become inspiration for our hilarious team of improv comedians as they create characters and scenes on the spot that will have you in stitches. Previous guests include folks from Portland Center Stage, Desert Island Studios, Trans Voices Cabaret, Shady Pines Radio, Rose City Rollers, Hey Doc Clinic, Red Sauce Pizza, Portland Playhouse, Girls on the Run, Masala Lab, Cereus PDX, Women with Moxie, Sao Noi, Anatomy Tattoo, and many more!

"I am an esthetician and owner of Dahlia Wax Bar, a body-positive waxing studio in Portland, OR, that creates a safe and inclusive space for my clients, with a focus on those in the plus-size and neurodivergent communities. I am currently starting the expansion of my business to make self-care even more accessible and comfortable for everyone, while also juggling being a single mom to two teenage daughters and never saying no to a rescue animal (I have 11)."
