Inaugural MXPDX Mexico/Oregon Fiesta de La Cerveza brings together Mexico and Oregon craft cultures and communities this summer in Portland

The heart of Mexico’s craft culture comes to Portland this summer for the inaugural MXPDX Mexico/Oregon fiesta de la cerveza. This collaborative cultural event for all ages celebrates the Pacific Northwest and central Mexican cultures with exclusive new and imported cerveza and sidra, arte & artesanías, actuación, comida, música, vino, and espirituosa.

Taking place on July 19th at The Redd on Salmon events venue at 831 SE Salmon St, Portland, OR 97214, the MXPDX festival will feature 13 Mexican craft breweries and 13 Oregon craft breweries and cideries who have teamed up on original creations that showcase both regions. In addition to 26 beers and ciders (13 collaboration beers and ciders, and 13 imported small-batch Mexican craft beers from each of the participating breweries), there will also be a Mexican-style bebidas bar by Straightaway Spirits, Mexican-American made PNW wine, and non-alcoholic aguas frescas.

Indoors and outdoors, the MXPDX pop-up mercado will feature arts, crafts, gifts, and a wide range of authentic Mexican cuisine including tacos, tamales, productos horneados, antojito street food, sonoran foods, postre desserts, and botanas snacks.

Additional entertainment will come from two stages hosting music from Latino DJs and live bands, to dance and luchador wrestling taking place throughout the day.

MXPDX is presented by Portland, OR based Beer Friends 501(c)(4) in partnership with Mexico City-based craft beer pros Jose Fernando Rincón and Diego Lara, co-founders of Falling Piano Brewing and Hop: The Beer Experience.

Tickets for MXPDX Mexico/Oregon collaboration festival are ON SALE NOW.
